Reflecting on my four years in Scotland for my degree at the University of Abertay, Dundee, and my time playing for Rossie Priory Cricket Club, it brings me immense pleasure to extend BeeSec's support to such a cherished community.
Rossie Priory holds a special place in my heart. Much like Linton Park Cricket Club, with its serene surroundings and welcoming atmosphere, Rossie Priory offers a sense of home away from home. The memories of weekends spent on the field amidst Scotland's picturesque landscapes are truly unforgettable.
Founded in 1828, Rossie Priory Cricket Club stands as the second oldest club in Scotland, nestled within the tranquil grounds of the Rossie Priory Estate in rural Perthshire. Its rustic wooden pavilion and iconic Highland 'Coo' mascot, Humphrey, add to its charm and character.
As Rossie Priory approaches its bicentennial milestone, the club continues to thrive, with its senior team competing in Division One of the Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union. Moreover, their thriving junior setup, offering cricket programs for ages 5 and up, including the ECB All Stars Programme, softball, and mini hardball coaching, speaks volumes about their commitment to nurturing young talent.
